"And then the lover, sighing like a furnace." -Shakespeare
Harry Cornelius Dommet, of the General Latin Section, is one of the students who has not figured much in athletics during his course at High. Harry's exertions in that direction have been confined to playing on the class soccer team in his Junior year. He is very fond of music, and on account of his abilities in this respect he was one of the foremost violinists in the High School Orchestra, in which he played for several years. "Dotes" was a member of the Invitation Committee where his good judg- ment helped to secure our handsome invitations.

"It's the wise head that makes the still tongue." -Lucas
Harold Mayberry Downes, otherwise "Duckey", is a member of the Classical Section. He is a very quiet person and has little to say for himself. His greatest offences are probably committed in Physics class, as he is unfortunate enough to sit at Table Number Six, which is notorious for its disorder and lack of attention. "Duckey" is the only member of the Classical Section who sings on the Glee Club. He expects to enter college in the fall.

"Happy am I, from care, I'm free."-Opera of La Bayadere
John Best Eby is another one of our classmates who is musically inclined, being a member of the Glee Club and a pianist of ability. He is a member of the "Magni Pedes" dancing class and one of the faithful members of the Colonial Club, a school organization which meets twice a week at the Colonial Theatre. "Abie" shows some proficiency in science and electrical work and is an amateur wireless operator; he expects to take up work along these lines after leaving school.
