J. E. MARTIN, TRUCK STOP OWNER, DIES
James E. Martin, 64, of 1408 Blizzard Dr., owner and operator of the Martin's Truck Stop, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Camden Clark Memorial Hospital, Saturday night.
He was born Feb. 4, 1900, in Harrison [sic] county, the son of the late Peter and Amelia Drain [sic] Martin, and was a member of the Masonic Order.
Surviving are one son, James E. Martin, Morris Plains, N. J.; one daughter, Mrs. Adrian (Pauline) Headley, Salem; two grandchildren; and one brother, Albert Martin, of Shinnston.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion [sic] Martin, two brothers, and four sisters.
Friends may call at the Shaver and Co. funeral home after 6 p.m. today, where arrangements are incomplete.
