Washington Obituaries - 2003 - Shirley A. Morford

A memorial service will begin at 6 p.m. Sunday at Living Hope Community Church in Brush Prairie for Shirley Ann Morford, who died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2003, from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), in La Center. She was 59.

Mrs. Morford was born June 25, 1944, in Bremerton, and lived in Clark County for 14 years. Her maiden name was Wilson.

Mrs. Morford enjoyed animals, camping, boating and going to the beach. She was a member of the church.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth W. (originally from Saginaw, Michigan) , at home; one daughter, Terri Cram of Longview; one son, Duane Whisler of Hoquiam; one brother, Bill Wilson of Wilsonville, Ore.; and six grandchildren.

A graveside service is also set for 1 p.m. Dec. 6 at Fern Hill Cemetery in Aberdeen. Vancouver Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Our lives are better left in chance, I could have missed the pain, but I would have missed the dance.
