Clara I. Phillips died Wednesday, May 17, 1978 in Olympia, Thurston County, Washington. She was born in Cadillac, Mich. on November 17, 1901. She married Elmer J. Phillips in November 1920. He died in 1935. Clara Phillips moved to Olympia, Washington in 1965. Surviving are a son George Phillips of Detroit, Mich.; a daughter, Dorothy Lampard, Olympia; two brothers Fred Hall, Port Huron, Mich., and George Hall, Plant City, Fla.; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services Saturday in the Woodlawn (Lacey) Funeral Home chapel with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery.
