Mary M. Sergeant died last night, October 20, 1943, at the age of 68. She was born in Fife Lake, Michigan, June 30, 1875, and was married in Olympia to Robert C. Sergeant on September 21, 1890.

She is survived by two sons, Fred C., Olympia and Thomas, Shelton; two daughters, Mrs. Georgia Buckley, Seattle, and Mrs. Myrtle Thorp, Bellingham; one sister, Mrs. Sarah McKeel, Beaverton, Oregon; and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in Mills & Mills chapel on Saturday afternoon at 1:00. The Reverend Claude H. Lorimer will officiate, and burial will take place in IOOF Cemetery.
