DIED--At Fremont, Oct. 21st, Emily Ashman, wife of J. H. Ashman, aged 54 years, of quick consumption, resulting from an attack of typhoid pneumonia. The funeral took place in Seattle on Tuesday; attended by Mr. and Mrs. Ig. Worcestor and Mrs. Schumacher, from Shelton. The deceased leaves a husband and a son, Phil. besides many friends, to mourn her loss. The family lived on a homestead near the head of the bay for seven years, and Mrs. Ashman made a friend of every acquaintance. Mrs. Worcester was called down last Thursday, and was with Mrs. Ashman when she died.
