Funeral services for
Ada Trevino, 70, who died Friday, April 10, 1992, at a Killeen, Texas
hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in
Killeen with Henry Camacho and the Revs. Wendell Dunn, John Abbey, Toby
Gonzales, Charles Belville, Lindon Petty and M.W. Lambert officiating.
Burial will follow at Killeen Memorial Park. She was born on October
27, 1921, in Taylor, Texas. She married Gene Trevino in 1942, and moved
to Killeen in 1950. She was employed at Sims Cleaners for many
years. She was a member of Bethel Church and was elected church mother.
Preceded in death by husband, Gene Trevino in 1976; son, Manuel "Juggie"
Trevino in 1971; and one grandchild. Survivors include two daughters,
Janie Richards of Copperas Cove and Bittie Swarick of Killeen; two
brothers, Henry Camacho of Killeen and Dan Camacho of Austin; three
sisters, Kate Barron of Taylor, Connie Lozano of Killeen and Sara
Jimenez of Kansas City, MO; six grandchildren; and two
great-grandchildren.
