Tennessee Obituaries - 1948 - F. Frank Foster
F. Frank Foster, retired carpenter, who moved to Memphis, (Tenn) from Humbolt, Tenn., 25 years ago,
died at 6:05 last night at John Gaston Hospital. Mr Foster, who lived at 1329 Emmason, had been ill
since he suffered a stroke last Christmas Day. He was 67.
Mr. Foster was born at Rutherford, Tenn. He retired two years ago.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Maudie Bell (Spain) Foster; his daughter Mrs. Alma Dee Bennett, and his
son, Elvis F. Foster, all of Memphis; his brother Ed Stansberry, Rutherford, and three grandchildren.
Services at 3 p.m. today in Elmwood, Rev. D. M. Renick officiating. Spencer-Sturla Funeral Home in charge.
(Submitter's Note: His name should be E. Frank Foster. It appears that way on his tombstone. He was known as "Effie.")
