Tennessee Obituaries - 1929 - Jim Ben Chandler
Killed, Jim Ben Chandler, about 55, at IC Crossing near Power House in Bolivar, while
returning home from White's Gin with a load of cotton seed. It is supposed that he did
not hear or see the south bound passenger train. He was killed instantly, also killed
the two mules he was driving and the wagon was a total loss. Survived by wife and seven
children. Buried Chandler Cemetery.
