Frank Firmstone, last of the family of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Firmstone, for many years residents of the old homestead near Glendon, died on Friday evening at Philadelphia. He left Easton many years ago and resided at Logandale, Va., where he had extensive iron interests. He was over 70 years of age. The homestead, just outside of Easton, is now the Easton Children;s home. The body will be interred in Easton on Monday.
Mrs. Morris Herring
Mrs. Morris Herring, aged 40 years, died at her home near Fredericksville, death being due to a complication of diseases. She was the daughter of Lewis and Agnes Ludwig.
She is survived by her husband and following children: Charles, George, Clarence and Benjamin, Hannah, Amanda and Rachael
Edward O'Donnell, an aged resident of the Sixth Ward, passed away onSaturday morning at his home, 423 Ridge Ave., following an illness of a year with a complication of diseases.
There survive a daughter, Margaret, of this city; two sons, Cornelius, of Puget Sound, and Charles, of this city. He also leaves a brother, Charles, and a sister, Bridget, of this city.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday morning, at 8:45 o'clock from his late home, 423 Ridge Ave. High mass will be sung in the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Interment will be made in the English Cathedral cemetery.
Mrs. Edward O'Mara
Mrs. Helen O'Mara, the young wife of Edward O'Mara, of Catasauqua, died at 6:45 o'clock Friday evening in the Allentown Hospital, whence she was removed several days ago. She suffered from internal injuries sustained recently when she made a mis-step and fell heavily.
The body was removed to the home of her mother, Mrs. Louisa Prebula, No. 324 Limestone street, Catasauqua, whence the funeral will be held at a time to be announced later.
Mrs. O'Mara is survived by her bereaved husband, her mother, two brothers, Frank and GeorgePrebula, and three sisters, Margaret, Mary and Annie. Mr. and Mrs. O'Mara were wedded only a short time ago.
Thomas F. Ziegler
Thomas F. Ziegler, died on Thursday afternoon at the home of his nephew, Howard Lerch, at Lower Saucon, near Seidersville, of complications due to old age. He was 76 years, 2 months, 25 days old. He was unmarried. Mr. Ziegler was a member of the Reformed Congregational church at Friedensville, and a member of the Parkasie Lodge, I. O. O. F., Perkasie. The funeral will be held on Tuesday afternoon, March 14, at 1:30 o'clock, from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Lerch. Further services will be held at the Friedensville Church. Interment will be made in the cemetery adjoining the church.
