Bradley to be buried here
Widow of Meat Packer Bringing Body of Millionaire From Pasadena

Pasadena, Dec. 18, - Mrs. Thomas Bradley, widow of the Philadelphia meat packer, who died in his home in Pasadena early this week, left this morning for Philadelphia with the body of her husband. Mr. Bradley's funeral and burial will take place in Philadelphia, his home many years, where he made the foundation of his large fortune.

Mr. Bradley owned three corners of valuable street intersection of Pasadena, at Colorado and Marengo avenues. His property in Pasadena alone is valued at more than $1,000,000.

The Girard Trust Co., Philadelphia, has the execution of the estate. The terms of the will are not known here yet. Mr. Bradley's wealth is estimated at several millions. During his residence here he was a trustee and active member of the First Methodist Church, and made many donations to Methodist enterprises.

Atlantic City, Dec. 18,- Major George Augustus Armes, U.S.A., retired, who was the last surviving member of the staff of Major General Winfield Scott Hancock in the Civil War, died in his home in Ventn .. City today, in his seventy-fifth year. Major Armes had been in failing health for about two years.

The deceased was a native of Fairfax Courthouse, Va., and was one of the few young men in that section to enter the service of the Union. His brother fought as an officer in the Confederate army. He enlisted at the outset of the Rebellion and remained in active service throughout the whole of the conflict.

After the close of the war Major Armes accepted a commission in the regular army and for thirty-seven years served in several branches of the regular service, chiefly in the calvary. He commanded fighting forces in many battles with the Indians in Colorado, Kansas and Indian Territory when they were territories. He was retired about twenty years ago.

Major Armes leaves his widow, who was Miss Marie T. Atkinson, a daughter of Prof. Henry Lee Atkinson, of Philadelphia. She is a native of Maryland
