THE REV. DR. B. L. AGNEW

The Rev. Dr. Benjamin Lashelle Agnew, prominent in the affairs of the Presbyterian Church in this city fifty years, died yesterday in his home, 1319 North Franklin street. He was eighty-six years old.

Doctor Agnew has been pastor of the North Presbyterian Church, Sixth and Green streets; the Bethlehem Church, Broad and Diamond streets, and the Westminster Church, Fifty-eighth street and Chester avenue.

He gave up active church work in 1912. At that time he was general secretary of the board of ministerial relief and sustentation.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Temple Presbyterian Church, at which the Rev. Dr. W.W. Heberton, treasurer of the board of ministerial relief and sustentation, will officiate. Officers of the Temple Church will be honorary pallbearers, and burial will be in South Laurel Hill Cemetery

MRS. KATHLEEN T. KOOP

Mrs. Kathleen T Koop, widow of Mathieu J. Koop, died suddenly of pneumonia on Monday at the home of her son, Daniel J. Koop, 5335 Baltimore avenue. She is survived by two sons, Daniel, who conducted a café at Broad and Filbert streets several years and Nicholas J. Koop. Solemn requiem mass will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock in the Church of the Transfiguration, Fifty-fifth street and Cedar avenue. Interment will be in New Cathedral Cemetery.

FRANKLIN V. SHANNON

Franklin V. Shannon, formerly a member of the Shannon Hardware Co., died Monday evening at his home, 5617 Pine street, following a long illness. Mr. Shannon retired from active business in 1916 on account of poor health. He is survived by a widow, Mrs. Cecylia F. Shanon, and three children.

MARSHAL SIR EVELYN WOOD

London, Dec 2, Field Marshal Sir Evelyn Wood died here this afternoon. Field Marshal Wood, sailor, soldier, and author, was born at Crossing, Braintree, Essex, February 9, 1838. He entered the navy in 1852 and served in the Crimea shortly afterward and was severely wounded in this campaign

GEORGE W. HALL

George W. Hall, ninety-one years old, widely known as an old-time minstrel, died Monday night at the Odd Fellows' Home, Seventeenth and Tioga streets. Mr. Hall was for many years associated with the late Sam Sanford, in Philadelphia. He was a member of the Decatur Lodge, No 33, I.O.O.F.

He is survived by a son, William, a member of the bar, and two sisters in Washington, D.C..
