Clayton Harris Hartman, 82 [son of Joseph Allen Hartman (Indiana) and Sarah Elizabeth Harris (Indiana)] passed away of natural causes in Prinville Oregon on May 4, 1972. Clayton lived the first part of his life in Kansas where he helped on his fathers farm until he married and attended vetrenery college in St. Joe. After moving to Oregon he continued his veterinary practice. Clayton married to his 2d wife, Cosie Pearl Hargett, in St. Joe, Buchanan Co. Mo. about 1917. They had 2 children, John Joseph who died in infancy and Sara Jane in 1922. After Cosie's death in 1947, in Oregon Clayton married 2 more times. Last to Norma, whom was his wife at his passing. Clayton had one younger brother, Joseph Allen born in 1891 in KS.
