John J. Timlin, age 80, of 638 Broadway died of coronary occlusion at 7 p.m. Monday in St. Elizabeth Hospital. Mr Timlin was born in Youngstown Jan 14, 1870, a son of Patrick and Sarah Egan-Timlin. A retired iron puddler at the A. M. Myers Co., he was a member of St. Ann Church and the Altar and Rosary Society. Mr Timlin leaves his wife, the former Anna Bertola whom he married 58 years ago; five sons, William of Steubenville, and James, Joseph, Frank, and Edward of Youngstown; a daughter, Mrs Clifford C. Hurst of Youngstown; 24 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the church. Friends may call at the McGovern Funeral Home this evening and Wednesday afternoon and evening.
