Niles,OHIO - Timothy Mahoney, 73, 18 Maple Ave, Husband to Bridget Timlin-Mahoney died at 8am Monday at his residence following a three month illness. Mr Mahoney was born in Niles, Jan 15, 1871, a son of Michael and Ellen Cochran Mahoney, pioneer residents. He spent his entire life in this city and was a steel mill worker until his retirement eight years ago. He had been employed in many of the local steel mills and more recently at the Mahoning Valley Steel Co. He was a member of St Stephen's Church and the Altar and Rosary Society. Surviving are his wife, the former Bridget Timlin, whom he married 49 years ago; three sons, Joseph, Frank, and Paul, all of Niles; one daughter, Miss Mary Mahoney at home, and two grandchildren. The body will be removed from the Richard W. Reese Funeral Home to the residence today where friends may call at any time. Burial arrangements are incomplete.
