RIDGE WOMAN PASSES AWAY LIFE-LONG RESIDENT OF MINERAL RIDGE DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS
Mrs. Mary Bowman, age 69, widow of Peter Bowman who preceded her in death
three years ago, died at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the home of her son, George
Bowman of Mineral Ridge, following an illness of several months.
She was born in Mineral Ridge and had lived there all her life. She
is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Collins of Niles, and
Mrs. Thomas Riley, Mineral Ridge; three sons, George Bowman, Mineral Ridge,
John Bowman of Niles and Milo Bowman of Mineral Ridge. One son, William
Bowman died a month ago.
Three sisters, Mrs. Salome Webb of Warren, Mrs. Sarah Seagraves of Youngstown
and Mrs. Neal Harding of Canfield; one brother, Milo Lodwick of Youngstown,
eighteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive her.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the home
of her son George Bowman of Mineral Ridge. Rev. H. S. Smith of the
Christian Church of Mineral Ridge will officiate with interment in the Four Mile Run
