Mrs. Jane Elmer, Mineral Ridge, Ohio, May 16

Mrs. Jane Elmer, aged 82 years, widow of the late John Elmer, and pioneer of the village, died on Tuesday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joseph Loveland, West Liberty Ave, following an illness of a few weeks with infirmities of age and complications. Mrs. Elmer was born in West Austintown but came to Mineral Ridge when a child with her parents and has resided here for over 75 years. She was a member of the German Reformed Church at Austintown and is survived by three children, Mrs. Mary Richards, Youngstown; Mrs. Sidney Crooks, Niles; Mrs. Joseph Loveland, Mineral Ridge; twelve grandchildren, and a brother Frank Lodwick. Her husband preceded her in death several years ago.
