Chaplain Duffy's father Dies

Patrick Duffy, 70 years old, father of the Rev. Father Francis P. Duffy, pastor of the Church of Our Saviour, 183d Street and Washington Avenue, died suddenly of heart disease yesterday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Michael Bird, 2,065 Crotona Avenue, the Bronx, with whom he made his home. Besides former Champion Duffy of the 165th Regiment, there are surviving another son amnd two daughters. Mr. Duffy was born in Ireland, and went to Canada with his parents when he was six years old, remaining there, where he was in the woolen business, until he came to this city twenty-five years ago.

Duffy, and Sister Mary Mathias and Mrs. M. L. Bird. Funeral mass Saturday morning 10 o'clock, Church of Our Savior, 183d St. and Washington Av., Bronx. Interment St. Raymond's Cemetery, Westchester.
