Oppenheim (Julie Greve), Mrs. Ansel, daughter of Herman and Marie (Lindeman) Greve, born in Johnston, PA, and died at the Post Graduate Hospital, New York City, September 6, 1915. Her parents were both born in Germany, and later lived at Johnston, PA, and St. Paul, MN. She was buried with the Episcopal services in St. Paul, MN. She married July 23, 1869, Mr. Ansel Oppenheim, and soon after wrote a novel, Evelyn, which received favorable comment. She was the author of a number of economic and philosophical articles which appeared in the Chicago newspapers.

For several years she made her home at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, New York.
