Suddenly, on Tuesday, Sep 27, Samuel W. Scofield, aged 28 years, 6 months and 18 days.
The relatives and friends of the family, and of his brother William, also of his uncles, Harry Vandewater
and Albert R. Scofield, the members of Keystone Lodge F. and A.M., no. 235, the members of the Fourth
Precinct Police, and members of Manhattan Engine Company No. 8, are respectfully invited to attend the funeral, from the
residence of his uncle Harry Vandewater, corner of Ludlow and Granbd st.s, on Friday afternoon, at 2 P.M.
The remains will be taken to Cypress Hills for interment.
