The remains of the late Capt. Jacob Westervelt, of the gunboat Underwriter, who was killed at Newbern, NC, Feb 2, having arrived in the City, his friends and those of his father, the late Capt. John A. Westervelt, and those of his brother-in-law, David Quackenbush, are invited to attend the funeral, at Hackensack, NJ, Tuesday, March 8, on the arrival of the 11 3/4 o'clock train from foot of Chambers st. Returning cars leave at 4 1/2 o'clock P.M.
