On Tuesday morning, Jan 19, after a short but painful illness, Mary Johnston, aged 37 years, wife of John H. Johnston, MD, of City of New York. Faithful to all her duties as a Christian woman, wife and mother, she has gone to receive her crown.

The funeral services will be held at the North Dutch Church, corner of Fulton and William sts., at 2 o'clock P.M. on Thursday, the 21st inst., whence the remains will be removed to Greenwood Cemetery for interment. Members of Eastern Star Lodge No. 237, F. & A. M., and the relatives and friends of the deceased, are respectfully invited to attend the funeral.
