At Jamaica, L.I., on Tuesday evening, Jan 12, suddenly, of dropsy of the heart, Col. Edwin Rose,
aged 57 years, formerly of 81st, New York Vols., Captain and Provost-Marshal First Congressional
District New York.
His remains will be conveyed to Bridgehampton, Suffolk, L.I.
