Miss Helen Frances Strong, daughter of William H. Strong of Oceanport, died on Monday , after a sickness which began six years ago with a stroke of apoplexy. She was 45 years old. For the past four years Miss Strong had been entirely helpless. During all that time she had been faithfully attended by her father, who is over eighty years old. Many years ago Mr. Strong was in the hotel business at Freehold. He then moved to Paterson and about 24 years ago he moved to Oceanport. In his younger days he was a race horse jockey and later was engaged as a trainer for a number of well-known horsemen. Miss Strong’s funeral will be held at the house to-morrow afternoon at two o’clock. Rev. M. S Messler will have charge. The body will be buried in the Long Branch cemetery.
