Miss Carrie VanNote, daughter of William VanNote of Fair Haven, died last Friday of hasty consumption, aged 21 years. The funeral was held on Monday at the Methodist Protestant church, of which Miss VanNote was a member. Rev. Jacob Leuppie of South Amboy conducted the service, assisted by Rev. John Watson, the pastor of the church. The choir sang "Never Alone" this hymn having been selected by Miss VanNote before she died.
Besides her parents Miss VanNote leaves two brothers, Frank VanNote of New York, and William VanNote of Fair Haven, and a sister, Mrs. Ada Jeffrey of Long Branch. She was of a very amiable disposition and had a large circle of friends.
