Robert W. Havens, only child of Wilson Havens of Manasquan, died on Friday, January 17th aged 25 years. His death was due to throat trouble. He had been ailing for a number of years but the disease did not take a serious turn until a few weeks before his death. The young man was a telegrapher by occupation and he had worked in that capacity for the Pennsylvania railroad, the Western union telegraph company and in the Wall street district at New York. He was born at Manasquan and had a host of friends there. He was a member of the Manasquan Presbyterian church, of the basket ball team of that place and of the Foresters lodge of Red Bank. The Foresters lodge had charge of the funeral.
