Susan E. Clark

Mrs. Susan E. Clark, widow of the late Thomas S. Clark, died on Saturday last, aged 84 years, 5 months and 29 days. Mrs Clark, whose maiden name was Walling, was married to Mr. Clark 58 years ago. He died May 15, 1899. She is survived by one stepson, Thomas, and eight own children. They are: Ezrom S., C. VanRiper, Mrs Thomas G. Cowles, Mrs. John H. Curtis, Mrs Hattie Thorne, John D. Clark, Charles H. Clark and Mrs. Emil Pimper. She leaves 30 (?) grandchildren.

Mrs. Clark had, since her husband's death, been living with her son, John D., on the homestead farm and the funeral took place from there, on Tuesday morning, at 11 o'clock, Rev. Joseph Garrison, of St. John's M.E. church officiating. The interment was in Cedarwood cemetery
