Obituaries - NJ - 1901 - Mrs. Elizabeth (Ayres) Riddle

Mrs. Elizabeth Riddle, widow of Charles Riddle, died at Little Silver yesterday afternoon of paralysis. She was 74 years old and she had been
failing in health for some time. She was a daughter of Benjamin Ayres and was born in the house in which she died. She was married when she
was forty years old to Charles Riddle, who died sixteen years ago. She was one of a family of eleven children, only two of whom survive her.
They are Michael and Benjamin Ayres of Little Silver. The funeral will be held on Friday afternoon at the house and will be conducted by Rev.
J. W. Presby. The body will be buried in the Little Silver cemetery.
