Mary, wife of Edward Bowman of Little Silver, died last night at the state hospital at Trenton, where she was taken about a week ago. Mrs. Bowman's brain became affected only recently and her case was a puzzle to her physicians.

Mrs. Bowman was 39 years old. She was a daughter of Dennis Black of Middletown township and had been married to Mr. Bowman about twenty years. Two children, Jessie and Andrew Bowman, survive her. She leaves also three sisters, Mrs. Jane Wagner of Little Silver, Mrs. Elizabeth Bendy of Matawan and Miss Mattie Black of Middletown township. The funeral will be held at the house on Friday.
