Obituaries - NJ - 1901 - Moses M. Marks
Moses M. Marks of Manasquan died on Monday of last week of locomotor ataxia, aged 61 years. He had been sick for ten years and during the greater part of that time he was confined to the house. He was born at New York and his boyhood days were spent in that city. Thirty-two years ago he moved to Manasquan and engaged in the tin roofing business in which he remained until forced to retire on account of poor health. He was a member of the New York fire department and upon his removal to Manasquan he was instrumental in the organization of a fire company at that place. During his active years he rendered valuable assistance at all fires. Mr. Marks was twice married. A widow survives him and he also leaves four grown up children.
