Obituaries - NJ - 1901 - Mrs. Kate (Deiderich) Vanderveer

Mrs. Kate Vanderveer of Colt's Neck, widow of the late Samuel Trafford Vanderveer, died on Monday, aged 69 years. Her death
was caused by dropsy. Mrs. Vanderveer's maiden name was Kate Deiderich and she was a descendent of the early Dutch settlers of
Manhattan Island. She was a member and a prominent worker in the Colt's Neck Reformed church. Her husband, Samuel T. Vanderveer,
died about a year ago. Mrs. Vanderveer leaves two daughters. They are Mrs. John B. Crawford of Red Bank and Mrs. Samuel Conover
of Colt's neck, with whom she made her home. A brother, Louis Deiderich of New York, also survives her.
