Jacob Vaughn, son of Michael Vaughn of Washington street, died last Wednesday afternoon of bronchitis, aged three years. He was taken sick with the grip on the Friday previous to his death. Bronchitis soon developed and he sank rapidly until his death. The funeral was held at the house on Friday afternoon and the burial was at Mount Olivet cemetery.
