Obituaries - NJ - 1901 - Mrs. Everett Miller
Cornelia, wife of Everett Miller of Wayside, died on Tuesday of last week, aged sixty years. Death was
caused by cancer of the stomach. She had been in failing health for the past two years but had been
confined to her bed only a few weeks. Mrs. Miller was a daughter of the late Robert Brand. She had
been a member of the Wayside church ever since it was built. She was assistant superintendent and a
teacher in the Sunday school.
Mrs. Miller leaves two married children, Mrs. Sidonia Fields and Horace L. Miller. Four grandchildren
survive her. They are Cora and Clarence Fields and Mildred and Sarah Walton Miller. The funeral was
held on Friday afternoon and the service was in charge of Charles Breese of Eatontown. The pall bearers
were Job Wardell, Sansbury Dangler, William F. Woolley and Edwin W. Bowne.
