Mrs. Caroline Hampton widow of Charles Hampton, died at Long Branch City on Sunday, March 10th at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Blackwell. She was in failing health for some time. She was born at Noank, Connecticut, but had lived at Long Branch for the past 37 years. She had been a member of the Methodist church nearly all her life. Besides the daughter with whom she lived she leaves a daughter, Mrs. John A. Eaton, and two sons, Moses I. and Charles Hampton.
