Obituaries - NJ - 1901 - Levi Riddle
|
Levi Riddle died last Saturcay at the home of his sister, Mrs. Edward Conk of Leighton avenue. Death was caused by hasty consumption.
The funeral was held at the house yesterday.. Rev. S. W. Knipe of Oceanic had charge of the service and the body was buried at Little
Silver.
Mr. Riddle was born at Freehold. He went to Seabright when a young man and engaged in fishing. For the past twelve years he had been
employed on the boats of the Fulton market fish company. Last Thanksgiving he came to Red Bank to live with his sister. His health
had then begun to fail. Besides his sister he leaves three brothers, Henry Riddle of Oceanic, Charles Riddle of Eatontown and John
Riddle of Lincroft. Mr. Riddle was 57 years old and was unmarried.
