Obituaries - NJ - 1901 - Mrs. Annie (Murphy) Hartigan

Mrs. Annie Hartigan of Everett died last Friday of consumption, aged 33 years. She had been sick for over a year. The funeral
was held at the house at nine o'clock on Monday morning and at ten o'clock in the Everett Catholic church. Rev. Michael Tracey
had charge of the services. The body was buried in Mount Olivet cemetery.
Mrs. Hartigan was born at Holmdel. Six years ago she married Thomas Hartigan, who was employed by W. A. French & Co., of Red
Bank. She and her husband lived at Red Bank until he died about four years ago. She then went to Everett and lived with her
mother, Mrs. Ann Murphy. Her father died ten years ago. She leaves a son, John, who is four years old. Five sisters and a
brother survive her. They are Mrs. James Kelly and Miss Lizzie Murphy, who live with their mother at Everett; and Mrs. Edward
Houskeri, Mrs. Barney Coyne, Miss Ella Murphy and John Murphy of New York.
