Mrs. Margaret Emmons, wife of W. L. Emmons of Robertsville, in Marlboro township, died very suddenly of apoplexy on Saturday, June 1st. She was stricken while assisting in laying carpet in the Robertsville Methodist church and she died without regaining consciousness. Mrs. Emmons was four times married. Her first husband was Tice Boice, by whom she had two children, Mrs.Nora McElwaine and Stephen Boice. Her second husband was Peter Boice. By him she had two sons, Etsell and Harvey Boice. Her third husband was Holmes Scobey, and upon his death she married W. L. Emmons, who survives her.
