Obituaries - NJ - 1901 - Mrs. Carrie C. Barlow

Carrie C., wife of George Whitfeld Barlow of Shrewsbury died of cancer last Thursday, after a lingering sickness. She was 49 years old.
The funeral was held on Saturday morning at Christ church at Shrewsbury. The service was conducted by Rev. William N. Baily. The body
was taken to Greenwood cemetery on Long Island for burial. The pall bearers were Dr. Charles H. White of Shrewsbury, William R. Stevens
of Eatontown, and William T. Corlies, Thomas Davis, Jr., Johnson Bergen and John Wyckoff of Red Bank.
Mrs. Barlow was born in New York City. She was married about twenty-five years ago and about thirteen years ago the family moved to
Shrewsbury. Mrs. Barlow was an active worker in Christ church. She was also a member of the Long Branch hospital auxiliary and of
the Shrewsbury reading club. She leaves one son and a daughter. The son is Whitfeld Barlow of New York City and the daughter is Miss
Edith Barlow, who lives at home. She also leaves one brother and three sisters, who live in New York. Mr. Barlow is superintendent of
Hazard's ketchup and canning factory at Shrewsbury.
