Obituaries - NJ - 1901 - William Mount Ely

William Mount Ely, one of the oldest residents of Englishtown, died on Tuesday of last week, aged 68 years. The cause of his death was paralysis. He
was first stricken about two years ago and he received the second stroke the Saturday previous to his death. He was born at Hightstown but had lived at
Englishtown for the past nineteen years. He was a carpenter by trade. Forty years ago he married Mary E. Johnson and she and eight children survive
him. He was a brother of Mrs. Rebecca A. Barkalow and Mrs. Phoebe Walling of Freehold.
