Obituaries - NJ - 1901 - Miss Helen A. Tyson

Miss Helen A. Tyson, daughter of Harvey Tyson of Brooklyn and grand-daughter of Mrs. James S. Yard of Freehold, died of typhoid fever in the Presbyterian hospital at New York on Friday, February 8th, aged sixteen years. Miss Tyson moved with her parents to Freehold when she was nine years old. She attended the public school and the young ladies' seminary at that place. A year ago she moved to Brooklyn and was a pupil in a public school there. She was a member of the Freehold Methodist church. Her mother is very sick with typhoid fever and she has not been told of the death of her daughter for fear of the effect on her health. Miss Tyson's body was buried at Freehold.
