Mrs. Mary C. Thompson, widow of James Thompson of Lincroft, died on Monday morning. She had been sick with a cold for two weeks, and this developed into pneumonia. She lived only three days after pneumonia set in.

Mrs. Thompson had always lived at Lincroft. Her husband kept the village store for many years. He died in 1876. After his death the store was kept for three years by his son, George C. Thompson. Then the store was given up and the building was rented as a store-house by John R. Conover, who kept the other store in the village. For many years past the store has been used as a store house for the products of the Thompson farm.

Mrs. Thompson left a considerable estate, including a farm of sixty acres. She left two children, George C. Thompson and Miss Emma Thompson, both of whom lived at home. She was 68 years old. The funeral will take place at the house on Thursday afternoon at half-past one o'clock. The burial will be at Fair View cemetery.
