Wills - NJ - 1901 - Dennis Allen
Dennis Allen of Atlantic township, who died recently, made his will September 10th, 1901. He left to his wife, Margaret Allen, all of his property for her use as long as she should live. At her death Mr. Allen's daughter Emma, wife of Thomas McDonough, is to receive the sum of $100 in payment of any claim she may have against her father's estate. After the payment of this bequest all the rest of the property is to be equally divided between Mrs. McDonough and Mr. Allen's son Edward Allen. John Statesir is appointed executor of the will, and he is authorized to sell the real estate at any time he sees fit and to invest the proceeds thereof, and to pay Mr. Allen's widow the interest from the money so invested. The will was witnessed by John McDonough and Michael Allen.
