William D. Sproul of Jersey City, son of the late Elizabeth and Joseph Sproul of Keyport, died on Thursday, July 25th, aged 58 years. He was born at the Sproul homestead on the Middletown turnpike, now occupied by his brother, Joseph Sproul. He married Miss Hattie Lee of Jersey City and she and four children survive him. He leaves also two sisters, Mrs. Emeline M. Conover and Mrs. Abram L Ackerson, both of Keyport.
