George Douglas of Lincroft died last Thursday night of consumption of the bowels. He was about 65 years old. The funeral was held at the house on Friday night and was conducted by Rev. S. H. Thompson of the Red Bank Presbyterian church. The body was taken on Saturday to Taunton, Massachusetts, for burial.

Mr. Douglas moved to Lincroft from Taunton about a year ago and bought the Alvin Sanborn farm. Last December he married Mrs. L. E. Austin, who came from Taunton with him as housekeeper.
