Obits - NJ - 1900 - John R. Taylor

John R. Taylor of Freehold died of consumption on Saturday, September 15th, aged 28 years. He had been sick about a year but he did not give up work
until last spring. He was the son of William F. Taylor and was born at Blue Ball, where he lived until he was sixteen years old. For a number of
years and up to the time when he was compelled to give up work he was employed as shipping clerk in the Freehold shirt factory. In February, 1894 he
married Miss Nellie Reid, daughter of Mrs. Reid of Freehold. She survives him with one daughter. His father and mother, three sisters, a brother and
a half brother, also survive him. The brothers and sisters are George, Jennie and Hannah Taylor of Freehold, Mrs. Lizzie Lefferson of Colt's Neck and
C. H. Brower of Asbury Park.
