Obits - NJ - 1900 - Mrs. Jane DeBow Applegate

Mrs. Jane Applegate, wife of John A. Applegate of Branchport, formerly of Freehold, died on Tuesday, August 28th, aged 66 years.
She was a daughter of David and Katherine DeBow and was born at Bordentown. Besides a husband she leaves four children. They are
John D. Applegate of Branchport, James H. Applegate of Jackson's Mills, Addison R. Applegate of Mr. Vernon, N. Y., and Mrs. Isaac
Gravatt of West Freehold. Three sisters and a brother also survive her. They are William DeBow of Princeton, Mrs. George Quackenbush
of Paterson, Mrs. George Cheeseman of Metuchen and Mrs. Samuel Hicks of Hightstown. Mrs. Applegate had been a member of the Freehold
Methodist church for 23 years.
