Miss Julie Sullivan of Shrewsbury died last Thursday, aged 28 years. She had been sick about two weeks with peritonitis. It was at first thought that she would recover but blood poisoning set in and this caused her death. Miss Sullivan was born in Ireland and came to this country when quite young. She had been employed by General VanVliet of Shrewsbury for a number of years. The funeral was held on Saturday and the body was buried in Mount Olivet cemetery at Headden’s Corner.
