New Jersey Obituaries - 1900 - William A. Tyson

William A. Tyson of Black Point, near Oceanic, died of paralysis on Tuesday of last week, aged 74 years. He had been complaining for several years. Mr. Tyson was unmarried. He was born in New York and was the son of Louisa A. and William A. Tyson. He at one time owned the greater portion of Black Point. A service was held at the house on Thursday night and was conducted by Rev. S. W. Knipe, pastor of the Oceanic Presbyterian church. On Friday morning the body was taken to New York and was buried in Greenwood cemetery.
