New Jersey Obituaries - 1900 - Mrs. Julia (Ashton) Wells

Mrs. Julia (Ashton) Wells, wife of John I. Wells of Atlantic Highlands, died suddenly on Saturday of heart disease, aged 30 years. She was the daughter of William Ashton, formerly of Oakhurst. Besides a husband she leaves six children. The oldest child is twelve years of age and the youngest is ten days old. She leaves several brothers and sisters at Bangor, Maine. One half-sister, Miss Josie Ashton, lives at West Long Branch. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon at the house and was conducted by Rev. Edward Loux. The body was buried at West Long Branch.
