Rebecca Mason, wife of William Mason of Manalapan township, made her will Agust 12th, 1893. The will was witnessed by Frank P. McDermott and Rulif V. Lawrence. Mrs. Mason left her personal property and the homestead farm to her friend, Ellen Gagen, wife of John Gagen, subject to a liferight to her husband, William Mason. Mrs. Gagen is also to maintain Mr. Mason as long as he lives, to care for him in sickness and to give him decent burial at his death. Mrs. Mason directed that a headstone be placed over her grave and over her husband’s grave at his death. Mrs. Gagen was appointed executrix of the will.
